Often customers come to our Virginia Beach showroom and wonder where we get all the rugs and carpet we have on display. What is unique about our business is that we don’t simply order new inventory by phone or Internet. Mark Gonsenhauser actually travels twice a year to all rug making countries such as India, Turkey, Morocco, China, Nepal, Pakistan, Germany, and other places. As a large direct Oriental rug importer, Mark travels the world in search of the best prices on the finest rugs from around the globe. 

Mark also travels to all the major shows and exhibitions held around the world to see first hand all of the latest trends in rug designs and buys only the best rugs for Mark Gonsenhauser’s Rug and Carpet Superstore.

As Hampton Roads oldest and largest Decorative and Oriental rug and carpet showroom, we carry the most extensive inventory of rugs in Virginia. We feature about 10,000 rugs in 20,000 square feet!
